Named after the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, Eagle Transportation is established by Tory Bass and Grant Sharp. On November 24th 2004, Eagle moved the first load in its history. By the close of their first year in business, Eagle would break $1,000,000 in revenue, marking an upwards trajectory that continues to this day.
Because of Eagle Transportation’s success and continued growth, a plan of expansion is put into place. Eagle's first regional office is opened in Atlanta, GA.
Due to the continuing success of Eagle Transportation, a brand new headquarters is opened in Hattiesburg, MS. Wilmington, NC becomes Eagle Transportation’s first satellite office to open. At the close of the 2008 year, Eagle Transportation achieves $17,000,000 in revenue.
With more success comes even more growth and opportunity! This year Eagle Transportation opened its second regional office in Salisbury, NC.
Eagle Transportation utilizes its continued success and growth to give back to the community. Sponsoring the Forrest / Lamar Heart walk in Hattiesburg, MS becomes Eagle’s first philanthropic mission.
Salt Lake City, UT is becomes the third regional office of Eagle Transportation.
In addition to the national headquarters, Hattiesburg, MS becomes the home of Eagle’s fourth regional office. Eagle Transportation begins its second philanthropic mission by establishing an annual golf tournament in Hattiesburg, MS to benefit the American Heart Association. At the close of 2014, Eagle Transportation achieves $47,000,000 in revenue.
Eagle Transportation is continuing with its upward trajectory, currently employing over 70 individuals across 4 regional offices, 4 satellite offices, and 25 agent offices. Transport Topics releases its 2016 rankings with Eagle Transportation placing at #68 of all freight brokerages in the US with $49,700,000 in revenue.
